Series: Losing It

Author: Cora Carmack

Format: E-book

Page Count: 280

My Rating:  ★★★★

Synopsis: Virginity.

Bliss Edwards is about to graduate from college and still has hers. Sick of being the only virgin among her friends, she decides the best way to deal with the problem is to lose it as quickly and simply as possible—a one-night stand. But her plan turns out to be anything but simple when she freaks out and leaves a gorgeous guy alone and naked in her bed with an excuse that no one with half a brain would ever believe.

And as if that weren't embarrassing enough, when she arrives for her first class of her last college semester, she recognizes her new theater professor.

She'd left him naked in her bed about eight hours earlier. . . .

So I read this book a couple of days ago and I wasn't going to write a review but I decided, why not. It's not that I didn't like it because I did enjoy it. It's just that there was nothing that really stuck out or that was exceptional. The main character, Bliss, was pretty relatable. She is in drama and is really sarcastic, both things which I can relate too. The plot was pretty predictable, but nevertheless, enjoyable. Now I know this is a New Adult book, but at times I felt like it was a bit too explicit at unnecessary moments.
Overall it was alright, but I will not be reading the other books in this series.
